I have spent
allot of time, thought, and research preparing this current article ,which
I hope you will find this article helpful and informative.
Also in this article, I will begin a three part series entitled Armageddon,
The Final War. I have never felt so compelled in writing and sharing a
article with people that may help you and your loved ones in the end times.
I'm not a graduate of a Bible school nor am I a theologian, a preacher,
or a religious fanatic. I'm a individual who cares for people and I wanted
to share with you my perspective views on current world affairs and theology
on the Bible's sixty sixth and final chapter. The Book of Revelation.
I
have avoided sensationalism and have presented my research from a reporters
point of view on world events and the advancements in technology and science.
The Book of Revelation
was written around the year 96 A.D. through the inspiration of Jesus by
the Apostle John. It is a chapter of the Bible that speaks of past, present
and future events that lead up to the Battle of Armageddon and the Mark
of the Beast. It is a chapter filled with visions and prophecies of the
Final War in which Christ will defeat the armies of Lucifer, The Antichrist
and The False Prophet. Even as I write this article the wheels of Apocalypse
are in motion. This earth will very soon be under a one world money system
and governmental rule. Some have named it The
New World Order & The
One World Government.
You
who have heard the phrase Big Brother is watching you. This is a true statement,
but its not the Big Brother that you might think it is. Big Brother refers
to the world wide satellite system in which the United States and other
countries monitor and survey each others movements. They are also watching
you. The fact that even today their are some chronic criminals that when
paroled, a computer chip is implanted in their body. Others may have to
wear a monitoring bracelet on their wrist or ankle. These devices are for
being able to track and monitor their movements twenty four hours a day.
The every growing popularity of the Debit Card. A card which you can use
to purchase food, clothes, etc. A card in which you will carry out every
transaction on a normal day in which you would use currency instead. (
TIME MAGAZINE's April, 98 issue done a article on the debit card in which
in the very near future, all money, your information will be implanted
in a card with a computer chip. ) This card will allow the government
and other people to access information on EVERYTHING you buy, make, and
spend. The BAR CODE is already on most all of the products you buy today.
The items are then SCANNED into a computer database. This is one good example
of where humanity is heading.. These and other events happening in
today's world strike me as the early implantation of the One World Government,
The New World Order, or Antichrist's Beast System and the Mark of the Beast
mentioned in the Bible.. I stated earlier that I am not a Bible scholar
nor do I claim to be omniscient or infallible concerning the Book of Revelation
and it's meaning. I have done my best at avoiding sensationalism and speculation
in writing this article. I felt moved to share my thoughts and evaluate
today's world events and how they may coincide with what the Bible's Chapter
of Revelation is trying to warn us of. I hope that this article will make
you more aware of current world events and just may some day, help save
you and your loved ones.
The year of 2002 saw the first family implanted with a chip under the skin. The Jacob's family of Boca Raton, Florida, volunteered to have a chip implanted under the skin. The VeriChip is encased in glass and is the size of a grain of rice. The manufacturer of the VeriChip is Applied Digital Solutions of Palm Beach Florida. The chip transmits a number which can then be accessed from an internet data base.
Above is a computer chip dispenser for animals.
Above L. is a prototype micro less needle implant designed by Georgia Institute
of Technology Mark Prausnitz and Mark Allen. The fabricated prototype is
designed to fit on a human's outer skin layer to dispense medicine. It
is only 10 millimeters square. I'm sure the technology could be used for
monitoring and tracking a persons identity and movement. Another example
how this technology could be used by Big Brother. New Research in 1999
by University of Basel professors Hans-Werner Fink & Christian Schonenberger,
published in the science journal NATURE showed that DNA can transport electrical
currentas efficiently as a good semi conductor. Kevin Warwick,
a professor of cybernetics at the University of Reading, England since
1988, has been experimenting with silicon chip implants by inserting one
in his body in 1998 and it monitors his movements through a computer.
Above is a Global Position Satellite (GPS) .The United States Department of Defense has developed a working civilian grade GPS chip that can monitor your every movement and can locate any human within meters anywhere on the planet. Your cell phone is one example of this GPS tracking.
Bar coding was introduced in the 1970s and is now a ubiquitous part of routine commercial transactions. Grocery stores use the codes to obtain price and other data about goods at the point of purchase by the consumer. At a typical supermarket checkout counter, a scanner is used to identify a product through its bar code, and a computer then looks up the item's price and feeds that number into the cash register, where it becomes part of the bill for the customer's purchases. The chief advantage of bar code systems is that they allow users to process detailed information at the moment the bar code is scanned, rather than simply storing information for later processing. For example, ski resorts can affix the codes to skiers and scan the bars when skiers enter ski lifts, thereby allowing the resort to monitor patterns of slope use. Various bar code systems are now used to track a vast range of products as they are manufactured, distributed, stored, sold, and serviced. These products range from processed foods and dry goods to drugs and medical supplies, automotive parts, computer parts, and even library books.
The sixty
sixth and final chapter of the Bible is the book of Revelation
which tells of events past, present, and of things yet to come. Revelation
was important to the Church in early Bible days and even more important
in today's world events. Revelation 1:3 ends with, for the time is at hand.
The book of Revelation was written through the inspiration of Jesus Christ
by the Apostle John around 96 years A.D. on the Island of Patmos in the
Aegean Sea. After John received the Revelation
he sent it to the seven churches of Asia so that it might be distributed
among the saints and passed down to us. It is imperative for everybody
to understand Revelation and its meaning. It was not designed to confuse
you but you must play close attention to its explanation and its meaning.
You may have heard renowned theologians and teachers disagree over Revelation's
interpretation while others suggest it is not to be understood until some
later date and their are those who simply cannot grasp its meaning.
God would
never design something with the intent to confuse you. The word of God
is set forth to teach and instruct us to prepare to walk the Christian
life. Adopt a positive attitude when studying Revelation. You can understand
it; it is not complicated and follow this rule: Take no scriptures out
of their original setting. If you examine scriptures out of context, people
tend to draw conclusions different from the ones God intended. This is
one of the main reason why Revelation
mystifies so many people, including myself. Take things one step at a time,
that's why we were given two feet. God promises a blessing to those who
read Revelation, " Blessed is he that readeth ,and they that hear the
words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein:
for the time is at hand. " Revelation 1:3. Many people teach only part
of Revelation.
They discuss the period of plagues and tragedies, the Antichrist, the False
Prophet, the Mark of the Beast and the Battle of Armageddon. But it is
JESUS, not these mentioned catastrophes, that dominate Revelation.
I feel this is one reason so many people are turned off by some preachers
because they hark on eternal hell fire and damnation instead of preaching
more on God's love and Jesus total victory over Lucifer and the Antichrist.
Once you have realized this you may be able to comprehend Revelationand
its meaning. It comes down to your faith. Chapter one introduces Revelation
and we learn how and where John received this prophecy. This chapter also
contains a large portion of the cover letter which John wrote to the seven
churches in Asia. John sent each church three items ( 1 ) A copy of the
prophecy. ( 2) A cover letter explaining how he received the prophecy and
his reason for sending it. ( 3 ) A letter dictated to him by the Lord Jesus
Christ which contained instructions for each church. The second coming
of Jesus Christ is divided in two events: His appearing and His return.
John explains how he was exiled from the mainland with the company of saints
to the isle of Patmos in the Aegean Sea. He had lost favor with the governmental
powers and religious leaders of the world because he preached God's Word
and testified of Jesus. The religious leaders wanted to kill John and made
numerous attempts on his life, but God gave John divine protection. Notice
that John did not allow natural circumstances effect his spiritual welfare
or outlook on life. Many people will allow adversity to badly effect their
spiritual outlook and their attitude becomes negative. This type of mental
thinking opens up the door for Lucifer to get into your mind. Lucifer enjoys
these opportunities so don't give him the chance to manipulate you or your
thinking. Remember this old proverb that states Good things come to those
who wait. Revelation 2:7 contains To him that over cometh will I give
to eat the tree of life, which is in the midst of paradise of God.
The over comer always succeeds so don't let present conditions or circumstances
effect your mental outlook on life. Jesus stated
that he who overcomes
and continues to overcome will never have their name blotted out of the
Book of Life. John describes the personalities of Heaven in Revelation
4: 6-11. John sees four beasts. ( 1 ) One was like a Lion. ( 2 ) One was
like a Calf. ( 3 ) One had a face as a man. ( 4 ) One was as a flying
Eagle. John also sees the 24 Elders. The number 24 is the double 12 of
Gods Word. In the Old Testament 12 is the number of the Tribes of Israel.
In the New Testament 12 is the number of Jesus Apostles. John also describes
a crystal sea before the Throne of God. This sea is not a body of water
but rather a mass multitude of people standing before the Throne of God.
This is one example on how the the Bible interprets its own meaning. John
also sees Jesus standing at the Throne before His Father. Also the number
7 seems to represent some sort of God's completion of his works.
The Antichrist or a governmental system like The New World Order will present itself as a world peace maker or diplomat, but this man or system is a master deceiver and many will be fooled by his claims of benevolence and statements of conquering evil nations in order to acquire peace. Some theologians feel the European Common Market, ( ECC ) may be the organization in which the Antichrist will rise to power, but this only speculation as of now. Many world governments could be the tools of the Antichrist's rise to power. The Middle East, the United Nations are all probabilities since the Antichrist is the master of deception. The second Horseman of the Apocalypse rides a red horse in which the Bible states; Power was given to him to take peace from the Earth and to kill one another, and was given a great sword. I found it interesting that the ECC and NATO which is the United Nations Army, both have their world headquarters in Brussels Belgium located in europe.

To speculate
this possible meaning, a sword was a lethal weapon in biblical times so
this great sword may mean the tools of war, perhaps governmental armies
of the Antichrist or nuclear
weaponry in which the Antichrist will use against his enemies who try
to oppose him. The United States nuclear weapon, The MX Missile is 350
times the power than the two atom bombs dropped on Japan in World War II.
Other Nations have these same weapons of destruction. The third Horseman
of the Apocalypse rides a black horse in which the Bible states, He that
sat had a pair of balances in his hand. Balance meant scales. Food will
be scarce, sold by the weight.” Penny,” not our penny, was then an ordinary
day's wages. ' Measure ' of wheat was about a quart. Ordinarily,
then, 15 to 20 measures could be had for a penny. In Revelation
6:6 the Bible states, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures
of barley; and see thou not hurt the oil and wine. This verse may possibly
mean that luxuries were abundant while necessities were at famine prices,
perhaps meaning that the rulers had plenty while commoners were in desperate
need. The result of the Prolonged Wars from the Second seal. The fourth
Horseman of the Apocalypse rides a pale horse in which the Bible states,
He that sat upon him was death and hell followed with Him. And power was
given unto them, ( The Four Horseman) over 1/4 of the World to kill with
hunger, and with death, and with sword and with the Beasts of the Earth.
The fourth horseman may in fact be the Antichrist or a group of governmental
leaders or a group of nations. The Antichrist will be a great world diplomat.
A master deceiver who will pretend to be a man of peace. Be aware of the
system or nation he will rise from. Some theologians have suggested The
European Common Market in which he will rise from. Others suggest a
Middle Eastern power or The United Nations itself. The Antichrist will
fool and manipulate many in his quest for power. To examine interpretations
of the Bible, lets explore the Book of
Revelation
False Prophets and self proclaimed sons of God
have flourished in the last century. People like Jim Jones, ( The Guyana
mass suicide of over 900 in 1978. ) Dave Koresh's Waco Branch Davidians
tragedy.( over 70 members died in a stand off with
government agencies.) Marshall Applewhite's Heavens
Gate Cult, ( over 30 members died in mass suicide in 1997. ) and other
self proclaimed Gods such as Maria Tsvygun of the Russian cult The Great
White Brotherhood. The list is endless with cults
becoming more radical as in case of the Aum Shinrikyo
Supreme Truth cult which gassed a Tokyo subway in 1995 injuring more 5,000
and killing 12. Aum Shinrikyo's visions began as early as 1987 which he
foreseen a Armageddon like war in the years 1999 though 2003. Aum Shinrikyo,
proclaimed himself as christ, 57 days after the subway incident. The religious
fanatics who crashed jumbo jets into buildings in The United States, which
was kwon as the 911 attack. These are preludes of worser things to come.
Terror comes in many forms, by bombs or by political abuse as The Patriot
Act Law, which was born after the 911 attack. The Patriot Act will grow
into a more terrifying theology which will be the base and the beginning
of the monitoring and the marking the human race.
Many preachers, scholars, and theologians have
put the creation of Earth at 4004 B.C. I find this date not acceptable
for many reasons. Excavations have unearthed civilizations as early as
5-7000 B.C. in which include the most of the ancient ruins in Qalat Jarmo
in Iraq. In the 1920's and 1930's a expedition from the University
of Chicago funded by John D. Rockefeller Jr.
excavated settlements dating as far back as 8,000
B.C. and body remains of modern day man can be traced back 75,000 years.
The Universe, as of 2004, has been dated at 14 billion years old, and our
earth at 3-5 billion years old. The earliest fossil of the current human
being were two skeleton fossils discovered in Ethiopia, 2003 and are dated
as 160,000 years old. These discoveries are the oldest ones found as of
2003 which are comparable to today's human skeleton design.
The Bible mentions, One Hour With God is as One
Thousand Years is to man. I don't think one can use or interpret this
phrase as some sort of measuring stick relevant
to past, current, or future increments of time. In the fifth centuryA.D,
a great christian theologian named Augustine warned against taking the
six days of Genesis literally, saying that these were not successive days.
Evangelist, soothsayers and doomsday prophets have tried to predict
the End Of The World for over 3,000 years. In 1610 A.D. Galileo Galilei,
who had built the most powerful telescope of his time, was the first to
discover the earth moves around the sun. Up to that time the church believed
the universe revolved around the earth. The so-called church had the scientist
tried for heresy and Galileo had to deny the most important astronomical
discovery of his time . So beware of even these so called churches who
seek to hide the truth or mislead their followers. The Bible clearly states
that no man, nor the Angels of Heaven know the end times exact date
or hour, only God Himself knows. The Bible does however make it clear
to be looking for certain signs of the end times and too be prepared.
Most alarmist are concerned with the antichrist's number 666 ( 616 as been mentioned as well. ). Everything from bar codes, social security numbers, credit card smart cards, microchips and even the rumor of a enormous computer in Belgium, which is so large, had been nicknamed The Beast. Actually, this computer does not even exist. This story came from a August, 1976 Christian Life magazine article. These are all good probabilities, as I have even mentioned them in my online report. The caution one must use is not to be drowned in so much speculative reporting. The mark of the beast may not be a tattoo or implanted chip at all, but it may represent a symbolic rejection of one's faith to God. But, the technology of implanted chips, bar codes and scanners can easily be seen as a tool for one such person as a antichrist or a government individual who is drunk with power, could easily mark and monitor it's citizens buying habits and movements in today's world. In the book END TIME VISIONS author Richard Abanes makes this observation. The word antichrist only appears two times in the Bible's 66 chapters, and both are in the the Book of 1: John and 2: John ( Actually, the word antichrist appears four times in John 1~2.).The word is used to describe anyone who denies that Jesus is The Christ, anyone who rejects The Father and The Son, anyone who refuses to profess faith in Jesus, and anyone who denies Jesus came in human flesh. Richard Abanes feels that the word antichrist is symbolic for ALL unbelievers ,and not just one person. Richard Abanes also made these interesting remarks concerning how Nero's characteristics made a interesting generic match to the antichrist beast system mentioned in Revelation.
1. Nero declared that he be worshipped.
2. Nero persecuted the jews from November 64
A.D. through June 68 A.D. 3 1/2 Years.
3. Nero's name when translated to a numerical
value equaled 666.
4. Revelations mention of those who kill by the
sword shall die by the sword, perhaps meaning Nero's
suicide by the sword. Many believe
Nero faked his death and escaped Rome.
5. Nero had coins minted saying that he was Almighty
God and Savior.
6. Those who worshipped Nero received a certificate
or mark of approval-charagma. Those who
did not have this mark/certificate
were prohibited from trade. Reminding us of the beast system
mentioned in Revelation.
7. Also Antiochus IV Epiphanes was similar in
generic background as a forerunner to the antichrist/beast
system. Antiochus IV Epiphanes,
( 175-163 B.C.) also sacrificed a pig on the alter in Jerusalem, forbad
circumcision and destroyed all the
Books of the Old Testament that he could find.
One final word. ( Luke 23:42~43 ) When Jesus was crucified, two other men were also hung on the cross. For what crimes I'm not sure of but that is not my point. My point is, one of the men seemed not to have followed the christian ways or The Word of God. This man may have been a criminal but he asked Jesus to remember him when Jesus enters God's Kingdom. Jesus then told him, " Today, shalt thou be with me in paradise ". This is one of my most favorite and important scriptures in the Bible which shows us all how merciful and forgiving God is to us all. This man asked to be with our Lord on his dying day and he was accepted .When the end times do come, remember the man on the cross who asked Jesus to remember him in Heaven.The Other Man on the Cross
